Consular Section:

***Provides information regarding entry visa into Cambodia for Foreign National(s) as well as extension of passport validity for Cambodian citizens residing in Malaysia. All types of Visas must be applied in person at:

Requirements for Visa Issuance

Malaysian citizens passport do not need an Entry Visa if they stay in Cambodia for no more than 30 days for both Tourism & Business purpose.

•    Print and complete the Application Form
•    One current passport sized photo(2×2)
•    Air Ticket & Booking Hotel
•    Passport with minimum validity of 6 (six) months

***Letter of invitation from Cambodia, on company’s letterhead is required when applying for Business Visa (E)

***Extension of Visa with Multiple Entries can be applied at the Immigration Office No. 5 Okhna Mean Street, Phnom Penh with fees of:
- 1 Month  - US$ 30.00 (with Tourist and Business)
- 3 Months  - US$ 60.00 (with Business Visa only)
- 6 Months - US$ 100.00 (with Business Visa only)

Terms & Conditions:          Single entry with maximum stay of One (1) month starting from the day of the arrival but within the Three (3) month period of validation.

Business Visa:

•    Employment certificate stating your position, department in the company and length of services in a company letterhead.
•    If you are proprietor/partner/owner of the company, you need to submit a copy of your business registration.
•    If Cambodian counterpart invites the applicant, please submit original invitation from the Cambodian counterpart, addressed to the Royal Embassy of Cambodia, stating in general reason and purpose of invitation and must be stamped using company’s seal.

NOTES:


1. Please arrange all the documents according to the sequence. Documents submitted will not be returned.
2. All copies must be on A4 size paper
3. Collection of passport will be in the afternoon between 2 – 4 p.m
***The Embassy has the right to request for additional documents or call the applicant for an interview.

Diplomatic and Official Passport

•    One completed visa Application Form
•    One passport sized photo (2 X2).
•    Passport with minimum validity of 6 months
•    Verbal Note (Diplomatic Note)
•    Fee: Gratis
***Extension can be applied at the Department of Consular and Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Applicants from:

Indonesia with non-resident status in Malaysia is subjected to provide a recommendation letter issued by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, with a return Air Ticket, before an Entry visa to Cambodia is granted (per their note No. 0292/DPN/06/08 (CON) dated 26 June 2008)
All Applicants from:
Ghana is subjected to provide a recommendation letter from the High Commission (Embassy) of Ghana before an Entry visa to Cambodia is granted (per their note No. KL/CON Vol.6 dated 2 September 2008)

Applicants from:

Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia,Sri Lanka and Sudan, except for those employed by the UN, IMF, WORLD BANK, ADB and other International Organizations, must provide the following:
•    Letter of Sponsor from his/Embassy/her company or local NGO
•    Return Air Ticket
•    Proof of Residency in Malaysia
***The Embassy has the right to request for additional documents or call the applicant for an interview.

VISA EXEMPTIONS

Nationals of Brunei holding DiplomaticService and Normal passports can travel to Cambodia without visa and may stay for no more than 14 days.
Nationals of the Lao-PDR, and Vietnam holding Diplomatic and Service can travel to Cambodia without visa and may stay for no more than 90 days. Those who holding Normal passport may stay for no more than 30 days.
Nationals of Malaysia  holding Diplomatic and Service or Normal passports can travel to Cambodia without visa and may stay for no more than 30 days.
Nationals of Myanmar holding Diplomatic, Service passports can travel to Cambodia without visa and may stay for no more than 30 days.
Nationals of Singapore holding Diplomatic, Service and Normal passports can travel to Cambodia without visa and may stay for no more than 30 days.
Nationals of Thailand holding Diplomatic and Service passports can travel to Cambodia without visa and may stay for no more than 30 days.Those who holding Normal passport may stay for no more than 14 days.
Nationals of The Philippines holding Diplomatic and Service passports can travel to Cambodia without visa and may stay for no more than 30 days. Those who holding Normal passports may stay for no more than 21 days.
Nationals of Indonesia holding Diplomatic, Service passports can travel to Cambodia without visa and may stay for no more than 14 days.Those who holding Normal passport may stay for no more than 30 days.

Nationals of the People’s Republic of China(except Hong KongSpecial Administrative Regionand Macau) holding Diplomatic and Service passports can travel to Cambodia without visa and may stay for no more than 30 days.
Nationals of India holding Diplomatic and Service passports can travel to Cambodia without visa and may stay for no more than 60 days.
Nationals of Iran holding Diplomatic and Service passports can travel to Cambodia without visa and may stay for no more than 30 days.
Nationals of The Republic of Korea holding Diplomatic and Service passports may travel to Cambodia without visa and may stay for no more than 60 days.
Nationals of Peru holding Diplomatic and Service passports can travel to Cambodia without visa and may stay for no more than 30 days.
Nationals of Brazil holding Diplomatic and Service passports can travel to Cambodia without visa and may stay for no more than 30 days.
Nationals of Mongolia holding Diplomatic and Service passports can travel to Cambodia without visa and may stay for no more than 30 days.
Nationals of Seychelles holding Diplomatic, Service and Normal passports can travel to Cambodia without visa and may stay for no more than 15 days.
Nationals of Cuba holding Diplomatic and Service passports can travel to Cambodia without visa for duration of their mission.
Nationals of Russia holding Diplomatic and Service passports can travel to Cambodia without visa for duration of their mission.

New e-Visa Fee: 30 US$ (Visa Fee) + 7 US$ (Processing Fee) = 37 US$

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has launched e-Visa, which enables you to apply for a Cambodia tourist visa online. Instead of applying through Cambodian Embassy, all you need to do is to complete the online application form and pay with your credit card. After receiving your Visa through email, print it out and bring it along when you travel to Cambodia.
